2. Information we process
Website analytics
Soca Globe uses first-party analytics to understand how the platform is used and to improve the visitor experience. Analytics may include page views, approximate unique visitor counts, sessions, pages visited, device category, referring domain, searches, countries or Soca scenes viewed, artist/producer/event/track views and clicks on Spotify, Instagram or event/source links.
The analytics system does not use a persistent advertising identifier stored in your browser. To estimate unique visitors and sessions, the server temporarily processes technical connection information, including the IP address and browser/user-agent information, to generate one-way pseudonymous hashes. Raw IP addresses and full user-agent strings are not written to the dedicated Soca Globe analytics files.
Daily analytics files may be retained for approximately 400 days, after which older analytics files may be automatically removed.
Promotion and featured-placement requests
If you submit a promotion or featured-placement request, we may process your name, email address, promotion type, website or social-media link, message, submission date, request status and technical information used for security or spam prevention.
Administration and security
The private Soca Globe administration environment may process administrator credentials, password hashes, authentication/session information, audit history and security information necessary to operate and protect the platform.
Technical server information
Our hosting infrastructure may process technical request information necessary to provide and protect the website, such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and browser information. This may also be used to detect abuse, spam, automated traffic and security incidents.
3. Why we process information
Information may be processed to operate Soca Globe, measure website usage, understand which content is useful to visitors, improve search and navigation, maintain security, prevent abuse, respond to requests, manage promotional opportunities and develop the platform.
Where applicable, processing may be based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving Soca Globe, taking steps requested by you before entering into an agreement, performing an agreement, complying with legal obligations, or consent where consent is required.
4. Search data
Search terms entered into Soca Globe may be counted in our first-party analytics so that we can better understand what visitors are looking for. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the search bar.
5. Artists, producers and event information
Soca Globe is a discovery platform focused on Soca music, artists, producers, countries, culture, festivals and events. Information may originate from artists, producers, event organisers, venues, official websites, public event listings, ticketing or music platforms, promotional submissions and other publicly available sources.

6. External services and links
Soca Globe may contain links to or technical resources from third-party services, including Spotify, Instagram, event organisers, venues, ticketing platforms, external event websites and technical content-delivery providers.
When your browser connects directly to an external provider, that provider may receive technical information needed to establish the connection, such as your IP address, browser information and the requested resource. When you leave Soca Globe, the external service's own privacy policy and terms apply.
7. Sharing personal data
Riddim & Vibez does not sell visitor personal data to advertisers. Information may be processed by service providers where reasonably necessary to host, secure, maintain or operate Soca Globe, or disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
8. International services
Some external websites or technical providers may operate outside the European Economic Area. Where Riddim & Vibez itself transfers personal data internationally and applicable data-protection law requires safeguards, appropriate safeguards will be used.
9. Cookies and local browser storage
The public website may store a small preference such as soca-theme in local browser storage to remember whether you selected the light or dark appearance.
The private administrator environment uses necessary authentication/session technology to keep an authorised administrator signed in.
Soca Globe does not currently intentionally use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or similar behavioural advertising trackers on the public website. See our Cookie & Local Storage Policy.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable data-protection law, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise a privacy right, email info@socaglobe.com. We may request reasonable information to verify that the request relates to you.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
11. AI-assisted editorial content
Soca Globe may use AI-assisted tools to support editorial features such as Artist of the Week, Festival Spotlight, New This Week, recommendations, content summaries and discovery suggestions.
Soca Globe does not use visitor analytics to make solely automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
12. Security
Riddim & Vibez takes reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
13. Children
Soca Globe is a general music, entertainment and cultural discovery platform and is not designed for the purpose of intentionally collecting unnecessary personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, contact us.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Soca Globe, its technology, services or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on Soca Globe together with its revision date.
