Soca Globe is an independent discovery and information platform operated by Riddim & Vibez, Dordrecht, The Netherlands. The platform focuses on Soca music, artists, producers, countries and scenes, culture, festivals, events, music releases and editorial recommendations.
2. Informational platform
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Soca Globe is not the organiser of listed events, does not operate listed venues, is not responsible for event admission, does not control ticket availability, does not guarantee that an event will take place and does not act as the ticket seller.
Before purchasing tickets, booking accommodation, travelling or making other significant arrangements, visitors should verify important details with the official organiser, venue or ticket provider.
3. Accuracy of information
Soca Globe aims to provide useful and accurate information, but event details may change after publication. This includes dates, times, venues, locations, line-ups, ticket prices, ticket availability, age restrictions, descriptions, cancellations, images and external links.
Soca Globe may correct, update, archive or remove information at any time. The appearance of an event on Soca Globe is not a guarantee that the event will take place.
4. Third-party sources
Soca Globe may collect, organise, summarise, link to or curate information obtained from public or authorised third-party sources, including official event websites, promoters, artists, venues, ticketing platforms, public event directories, music platforms, social-media accounts and promotional submissions.
Where appropriate, a source link may be provided. Inclusion of information does not automatically imply a formal partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.
5. Third-party intellectual-property rights
Artist photographs, posters, flyers, event artwork, logos, trademarks, music artwork and other third-party materials may belong to their respective artists, photographers, designers, record labels, promoters, organisers, venues or other rights holders.
Riddim & Vibez does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property merely because it appears on Soca Globe.
If you are a rights holder and believe material on Soca Globe infringes your rights, email info@socaglobe.com and, where possible, provide your contact information, the relevant Soca Globe URL, identification of the material, an explanation of your rights or authority, and whether you request correction, attribution or removal.
6. Soca Globe intellectual property
The Soca Globe name, original branding, logos, interface design, original written material, software, graphics, data organisation and other original elements created by or for Riddim & Vibez may be protected by intellectual-property rights.
You may browse Soca Globe and share normal links to public pages. Without permission, you may not reproduce substantial parts of the Soca Globe database, clone the platform, reproduce the branding in a misleading manner, systematically scrape the platform for commercial republication, present Soca Globe content as your own, remove rights notices, or imply an unauthorised partnership.
Normal search-engine indexing and ordinary linking to public pages are permitted.
7. Artist and producer profiles
The inclusion of an artist or producer does not necessarily mean that the person submitted or formally approved the profile, is partnered with Soca Globe, or endorses Soca Globe. Likewise, omission does not represent a judgement regarding relevance or quality.
8. Event listings
Soca Globe may display event titles, dates, cities, venues, artwork, descriptions, organiser information and source links. Soca Globe may automatically archive past events or remove listings that are outdated, duplicated, inaccurate or no longer relevant.
For official information, visitors should use the original organiser, venue or source where available.
9. Editorial and AI-assisted content
Soca Globe may use editorial judgement, analytics, automated tools and AI-assisted systems to support Artist of the Week, Festival Spotlight, New This Week, featured events, rankings, recommendations, country highlights and editorial summaries.
These are discovery/editorial features and are not official awards, objective industry rankings, guarantees of quality or commercial endorsements unless expressly stated.
10. Promotion and featured placement
Artists, producers, organisers, promoters, brands or other parties may be able to request promotional or featured placement. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance, publication, a particular position, audience size, ticket sales, streams, followers, website visits or commercial results.
Where a paid promotional arrangement is agreed, additional commercial terms may apply. Sponsored or paid content may be identified where appropriate.
11. Promotional materials submitted to Soca Globe
If you provide text, photographs, artwork, posters, logos or other material to Soca Globe for publication, you confirm that you have the right or permission to provide it, publication will not knowingly infringe another party's rights, the information is not intentionally misleading and the material is not unlawful.
You grant Riddim & Vibez a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, resize, format, reproduce and display submitted material for the purpose of operating and promoting the relevant listing, campaign or Soca Globe feature. You retain ownership of your original material.
12. External links
Soca Globe may link to Spotify, Instagram, official event websites, venues, ticket providers, artist websites and other third-party services. Their own terms, privacy practices, pricing and policies apply. Riddim & Vibez is not responsible for the availability, security, pricing, content or practices of independent third-party services.
13. Tickets and external purchases
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Soca Globe does not sell the event tickets displayed on the platform. A purchase made after following an external link is normally a transaction between you and the relevant third-party seller. Questions about payment, delivery, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks or consumer rights relating to that purchase should normally be directed to that seller.
14. Analytics and rankings
Soca Globe may measure interaction with content, including views, searches and clicks. Analytics may help inform popular events, artists, countries, frequently searched content and editorial priorities. Analytics and rankings are indicative only and may not represent the entire global Soca audience.
15. Acceptable use
You may not use Soca Globe to attack or interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious software, exploit security vulnerabilities, abuse forms or automated interfaces, impersonate another person or organisation, knowingly submit fraudulent information, infringe third-party rights, systematically scrape the service in a way that creates unreasonable server load, or use Soca Globe for unlawful purposes.
Riddim & Vibez may restrict or block abusive access.
16. Availability
Riddim & Vibez aims to keep Soca Globe available and operating correctly, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. The platform may be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, hosting problems, security incidents, technical failures, third-party outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
17. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to applicable law, Riddim & Vibez is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on outdated or incorrect third-party event information, independent third-party services, event cancellations, external purchases or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Visitors remain responsible for verifying important information before making significant financial or travel commitments.
18. Changes to the platform
Riddim & Vibez may add, modify or remove features, artists, events, countries, rankings, editorial selections, integrations, promotional features and other content. These Terms may also be updated as Soca Globe develops.
19. Privacy
Use of Soca Globe is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie & Local Storage Policy.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory law applicable to a user provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms removes statutory or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
